About The Project
As a new-build property, C.P. Hart’s Design team had the pleasure of starting with a blank canvas. Working with a brief that called for colour and character in abundance, the designers embraced the opportunity to create something truly unique, with each bathroom a standout room in its own right – no two to follow the same scheme.
The Cloakroom
Small yet impactful, Kast’s Elm concrete basin in Sandstone takes centre stage, paired with the Fantini Fontane Bianchi three-piece basin mixer in Matt Gun Metal – the perfect industrial counterpoint to the floral backdrop. “We wanted to create a space where raw materials and soft detailing could coexist,” says the Design team. “The basin's sculptural presence grounds the room, while the floral wallpaper brings in a sense of play.”
Around the corner, the Cielo Smile WC in Basalto is teamed with the wall-mounted Zehnder Charleston radiator, both set against a backdrop of light turquoise stacked tiles.
The Primary Ensuite
The primary ensuite, swathed in light blue and soft pink tiles, comes into focus with a commanding double My Time vanity unit from IdeaGroup. Complete with deep base drawers for optimum storage and twin undermounted basins to maximise surface space, it forms the functional heart of the room. “We installed two of our exclusive C.P. Hart Atlas Oval Illuminated Mirrors above the basins to help define the dual zones and achieve symmetry upon entry,” shares the team.
To one side of the bathroom sits Duravit’s advanced Sensowash shower toilet and a spacious full-width walk-in shower, enclosed with a Crittall-style wetroom panel and embellished with AXOR One brassware in Chrome – also used at the basin and bath for a sense of cohesion.
“At the other end of the bathroom, we strategically positioned the freestanding Dawn bath beneath the full-height window, framing views of the entire garden to truly create a sense of spa-like luxury.”
The Coral Bathroom
“The high-impact colour of this ensuite made it a pure joy to design,” says the Design team. “The clients wanted rich colour and textural interest – no hard, clinical surfaces, just a space that evokes happiness.”
With a smaller footprint than the other bathrooms, the focus for this ensuite centred around space optimisation, achieving a layout that performs functionally yet retains the premium aesthetic for which C.P. Hart is renowned.
The Plinio vanity unit from Cielo proved ideal: both spacious and space-saving, it offers a shelf and drawer for discreet storage without visually dominating the space. “We specified the unit in Corallo – an exceptionally eye-catching colourway that informed the palette for the rest of the bathroom – paired with a Rovero Nero stand, a detail which we echoed in brassware and shower fittings.”
The Blue Ensuite
“The clients loved Kast’s concrete Sono basin for the blue bathroom, selecting it in the Mineral finish to complement the room’s chosen colour scheme. To introduce the necessary storage, we paired the basin with IdeaGroup’s My Time drawer unit in a warm wood, adding a natural, textural counterpoint to the space.”
To enhance the bathroom’s tactile appeal, the walls are swathed in C.P. Hart’s exclusive Luminous Lume tiles in Blue, prized for their high-gloss sheen and subtle colour variation, offering the walls added depth and movement. Underfoot, our Venti tiles bring a bold, patterned later that plays into the room’s maximalist spirit.
The Yellow Bathroom
“What better way to introduce a sense of playfulness than with a bathroom washed in yellow?” asks the Design team.
This room’s primary focal point is its integrated storage system. “We explored layered storage, specifying IdeaGroup’s MyTime vanity in Tortora Matt and Cielo’s mirror system, complete with a magnifying mirror and series of rails that house a standout leather bag, chosen in the Natural finish to echo Cielo’s Shui washbowl in Anemone.
The Bette Lux inset bath makes the most of the limited floor space, purposefully integrated into the scheme with terrazzo tiles that encircle the entire room.
