C.P. Hart designed and supplied the complete renovation of a master bathroom, located in a five-bed Victorian house in Richmond, South West London. The project's brief was to channel tranquillity and timeless elegance with a design that stays sympathetic to the age of the house.The Specification
To follow the client's brief of a simple and timeless sanctuary, the C.P. Hart design team opted for a minimal aesthetic, choosing mostly a white interior with flashes of blue on the bespoke Artlelinea vanity units to warm the space. The choice of large marble-effect tiles accentuates the room's spacious feel, leading right up to the generous Matki walk-in shower while also forming the tiling on the shower's walls.The London freestanding bath is exclusive to C.P. Hart, positioned beneath the windows to draw the eye upon entering the space. For the brassware, a chrome finish lends itself to the bathroom's minimalism, with the design team sourcing the basin mixer and showerhead from Dornbracht and the hand shower from Crosswater.
The Result
The minimalism of the white sanitaryware created light and space in the bathroom, elevated with pops of blue to inject a touch of playfulness. Preserving the old fireplace, C.P. Hart's designers created a stunning architectural focal point while retaining the property's much-loved character."I had used C.P.
