The Brief: Design and supply a bathroom for a Georgian property in Ormskirk, West Lancashire that reflects the period nature of the property without going too traditional.

THE SPECIFICATION:

C.P. Hart selected products that would be practical yet elegant. The client was drawn to the look and feel of natural wood, therefore they choose the sleek lines and functional storage of Dogi furniture on which to sit twin Duravit basins. A seamless SSI shower frame and wet room floor creates a spacious walk-in shower area, complete with Hansgrohe shower valve. To add a more traditional element to the room, the Greenwich freestanding boat bath with Rachel Berger’s pewter paint finish was the perfect inclusion, paired with C.P. Hart’s Ocean brassware. Under-floor heating and heated towel rails provide a source of discreet warmth, while mosaic and timber-effect tiling brings the ‘wow’ factor.
THE RESULT:

A neutral, stylish space that strikes the ideal balance between classic and contemporary. This bathroom scheme chosen by C.P. Hart works perfectly in traditional surroundings.
