Salone 2026, In Summary

Salone del Mobile is renowned for inspiring a new generation of design excellence. As the C.P. Hart team returns from a productive week in Milan, we are pleased to share previews of the new collections we’ll be launching in its wake, alongside the key trends set to drive interiors into a fresh chapter.

New From Dornbracht: Coya

The Coya brassware collection from Dornbracht is a take on fluidity, where square and circular shapes meld into a minimalist form. Created by Sieger Design, Coya is neither round nor angular; it’s geometric yet ergonomic. “For us, it was about the beauty that lies in contradiction,” explains designer Michael Sieger. “At first glance, it seems surprising, almost counter-intuitive - only to appear incredibly coherent at the same time.”

The Coya collection, available across the basin, bath, and shower, is available in 10 finishes, including the Champagne finish made with 22kt Gold. In addition to the standard offering, the Coya handles can be customised in line with Dornbracht Atelier. Here, the handle options range from gemstone inlays to the ‘The Knot’, a specialist handle developed in collaboration with Hong Kong design studio AB Concept. Inspired by the traditional Asian Ruji knot, this symbol denotes luck, happiness, prosperity, and a life in harmonious balance.

New Colours From Kast

Kast is the British creator of hand-poured concrete basins. Standing on the edge of Sherwood Forest, Kast is acclaimed for its material innovation and sculptural, monolithic designs. Combining architectural form with meticulous detail, the brand designs and handcrafts every piece in its British factory before shipping it to projects around the world.

Complementing Kast’s product offering is the brand’s exceptional finish portfolio, heightened by three new colourways launched in Salone del Mobile 2026. Olive, Oat, and Espresso join a palette of 24 colours, each inspired by nature and weathered landscapes.

Espresso is deep and grounding, drawing on timber, rich earth, and shadows.

Oat is soft and mineral, reflecting sun-bleached stone and warm sand dunes.

And olive is muted and organic, inspired by foliage, lichen, and quiet woodland.

New From Cielo: Teseo

The Teseo washbasin collection by Cielo features a distinctive design with soft, rounded edges that create a comfortable, inviting look while maintaining a strong, tactile material presence.

Each unit is designed as a complete, coordinated system. The integrated top forms a smooth, continuous surface that neatly connects the two basins, making it both practical and easy to clean. A cantilevered ceramic shelf sits beneath, offering useful storage space while keeping the overall design light and uncluttered. The elliptical towel rail complements the basin’s curved lines, adding both function and visual consistency. The look is finished with a matching cabinet, which provides additional storage and introduces gentle, rounded volumes to complete the piece.

Key Trends From Salone

Travertini Rosso, fluid blue, and gentle geometry define Salone 2026. How will you interpret these ideas into your designs?

Travertini Rosso

Travertini rosso or red travertine is a natural limestone, typically used as a building and architectural stone, formed from calcium carbonate deposits in hot springs and sedimentary environments. Its distinctive, vivid red to brown colouration comes from natural iron oxide minerals within the stone structure.

Durable with a unique, striking appearance, red travertine is gaining popularity in interiors, particularly for creating rich, warm spaces. It's now seen across furniture, sculptural objects, basins, and even incorporated into brassware - a statement surface not to be missed.

Fluid Blue

Though the use of blue in interiors is often deemed as cold, especially with the rising popularity of warm colour palettes, many exhibitions at Salone remind us of the shade’s timeless appeal. Soft, muted sky blue conveys calm, pairing beautifully with warm accents like reds, terracotta, and yellows, as well as natural materials like timber and stone.

Pale blue tones are versatile, complementing both warm and cool materials. Layering multiple shades of blue adds depth, cohesion, and subtle sophistication, creating a relaxed and harmonious environment in the bathroom and beyond.

Gentle Geometry

Gentle geometry is emerging as a defining design direction for 2026, striking a balance between the comfort of organic, rounded forms and the precision of angular lines.

Whilst soft curves and fluid shapes continue to stand strong on their own, there’s a growing shift toward combining them with sharper, geometric elements. Think basins with crisp, angular exteriors paired with softly curved interiors, or bold geometric showerheads cushioned by subtle, rounded detailing. Structured furniture with clean lines can be beautifully offset by mirrors in round or oval shapes. The interplay between these forms adds visual interest, depth, and a sense of thoughtful balance.
