“The choice of pink can significantly impact the overall ambiance of the space, for example, soft, pastel pinks evoke a sense of tranquillity and serenity, perfect for creating a calming oasis, whereas rich, bold pinks add drama and flair, great for a bold statement of opulence.”

“While luxury pink bathrooms are undeniably extravagant, striking a balance is key to avoid overwhelming the space,” says Emma Scott, C.P. Hart’s Director of Client Design.

“Consider incorporating neutral tones, such as white or grey, as a backdrop to the pink elements. This not only maintains a sense of sophistication but also prevents the bathroom from feeling overly saccharine.”

The allure of luxury pink bathrooms often lies in the intricate details. For those who are hesitant to be bold with their use of pink, Emma suggests incorporating it into the detailing of the bathroom for a more subtle approach.

“Consider a vanity unit with a muted pink top or front, such as the Quadra vanity from Italian makers Artelinea. To strip it back further, a marble vanity countertop with delicate pink veining introduces pink to stunning effect, particularly when complemented by rose gold brassware, such as the Polished Red Gold finish from leading brassware makers AXOR.”

“Pink tiling doesn’t have to be as daunting as it may sound,” explains Emma. “Our extensive tile portfolio is home to many pink styles, varying in colour, from the more subtle blush tones to bolder hues, best saved for statement areas.”

“The primary bathroom in one of our recent design projects, Sheffield House, is adorned with gentle pink stacked metro tiling. To enhance the pink theme further, the owners have dressed the suite with coordinating pink and white towels – a great way to add colour without the commitment!”

"Many of our classical-style freestanding baths, including our Winchester, Camden, and Cambridge baths, are supplied primed and can be painted any colour of choice,” says Yousef. “This is an excellent option for those wanting to perfectly coordinate the colours in your home.”

“For those who are hesitant to paint their bath pink, or those who have a contemporary bath that cannot be painted, the addition of statement pink furniture can have a similar impact. The owners of Tudor Manor, a residential project in Norfolk, selected a plush pink armchair to complement the pink tiled splashback in their primary ensuite.”

When it comes to luxury bathroom design, finding the right colour pairing can make a true impact on the overall aesthetic. One such combination that has been highly sought-after in recent years is the harmonious marriage of pink and green.

“This pairing brings together the warmth and sophistication of pink with the refreshing, natural energy of green, creating a beautifully balanced bathroom scheme,” offers Yousef. “Pink and green can come together through painted walls, leafy wallpapers, accent emerald tiling, painted baths, or even some vibrant artwork.”
