This month's 1 minute interview is with our Merchandising Director, Rachel Martin, who talks us through some of the new products being introduced at next month's launch.
What are the latest trends in luxury bathroom design?
Furniture is still a dominant feature in giving a design statement to a luxury bathroom. Shadow lighting within furniture cabinetry is the latest trend and it doesn't have to cost the earth. Duravit's new Vero furniture has some lovely lighting features.
Which product is your current favourite in the showroom?
I have too many favourites as we have a great selection of products. However I think the new Bania range from luxury furniture manufacturer Karol is probably the most interesting new product we have launched in a while. It has distinctive decadent style but it can be toned to suit many designers tastes. With it being available in over 80 different finishes no two bathrooms will look the same!
What are you looking forward to the most in the world of luxury bathrooms in the next month?
I think luxury bathroom design will become more adventurous with finishes, especially in brassware and furniture. Gone are the days of white and chrome. Golds, coppers and bronzes will feature a lot more from our brassware manufacturers.
Are there any discounts available instore/special events/products that people should come in and see this month?
We have our "Future Bathrooms" launch event on the 9th October, in our Waterloo flagship showroom. We will be showcasing our biggest new product launch event to date, including a new range of C P Hart tiles that caters for a wide range of budgets.
