C.P. Hart’s Contracts team provided technical expertise in bathroom design and supplied products exclusive to C.P. Hart, including London sanitaryware, Arc and Original brassware, and high pressure drench showers. These products blended effortlessly with grown-up shades of olive, inky blues and slate greys throughout the inn, and vintage French lighting and unusual artefacts founds on forays by owners, Sam and Georgie Pearman, to Europe and Parisian flea markets.
Owner Georgie commented:
‘When we set out to refurbish the Wheatsheaf and each of the 14 bedrooms we wanted to have a lot of fun – making each room individual and memorable. The bathrooms have attracted a lot of media coverage in their own right, and have played a big part in differentiating the Wheatsheaf from other inns and hotels.’
‘We knew C.P. Hart retail, but this was our first experience working with the Contracts division, and it was a real pleasure. We worked to an incredibly tight timescale – just 8 weeks from start to finish, and every time I asked for something ‘tomorrow’, it appeared the next day.’
‘Our builders worked closely with C.P. Hart, whose specialist bathroom knowledge was a big help in proposing product and design ideas, and addressing practical matters.’
