C.P. Hart designed the master ensuite at Waldon Place, a residential property in London. Despite the property’s limited floorplan and sloped ceilings, the Design team were able to fully optimise the space with plenty of intelligent storage solutions.
The Specification
The Contracts Team specified high-quality products that performed from practical and aesthetical perspectives. Key products included the Duravit Starck 3 Undercounter basin, the Duravit back-to-wall pan, brassware from Crosswater and a Bette freestanding bath. The expansive shower areas were fabricated to include contemporary thermostatic showers with ample room for a turning circle and supportive grab rails designed to assist movement. The showers also feature a tip-up seat that can be removed when not required. Support rails were installed next to the washbasin and close-coupled pan, with C.P. Hart advising on mounting heights and proximity to each piece to ensure compliance. These rails are used for towels when the guest does not require the accessibility benefits.

The C.P. Hart Design team considered every detail when creating Waldon Place, taking full advantage of the unusually-sloped ceiling. Following the owner’s brief of 'an inviting, luxurious space with a large, uncompromised showering area', the team ensured the ensuite functioned as an open, uncluttered bathroom sanctuary.
