The Cavendish Hotel
C.P. Hart were delighted to supply the bathroom products for the 28 suites of Cavendish Hotel, a countryside escape in one of the Peak District’s most picturesque villages, Baslow.
The Specification
In keeping with the hotel’s traditional interior, the suites primarily feature C.P. Hart’s exclusive London ceramics and Original brassware collections, both renowned for their classical appeal. C.P. Hart supplied London Washbasins and London close-coupled WCs, complete with soft-close toilet seats in Light Mahogany. Original brassware, finished in Chrome, is installed at the basins, bath, and showers.
Bette inset and C.P. Hart Winchester freestanding baths were selected for their generous capacity, offering the ultimate wind-down experience for the guests, whilst the walk-in showers, including a spacious accessible wetroom, are screened with frameless glass panels.

The Result
The Cavendish Hotel dates to the 1700s, rebuilt in the early 1970s as ‘the Cavendish’ by Chatsworth Estate. “When the original character of the property was preserved, the Duchess of Devonshire selected the decor and furnishings, some of which came from Chatsworth House itself,” the owners share.
