Project Manager
Role: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Dartford Head Office

 

About The Role

To create quotes for BDM’s and then manage the ordering and delivering of projects with customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contact suppliers for price, delivery, lead time, and technical information.

  • Create quotes in Excel and Bistrack from BDM leads, populate quotes with product imagery, and update quotes in line with customer and BDM amendments.

  • Participate in business meetings to support the BDM.

  • Create Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.

  • Place purchase orders (P/Os) with suppliers, file order confirmations, manage the delivery of the P/Os, and answer price queries.

  • Maintain customer and supplier communications records on Bistrack sales orders and P/O notepads.

  • Organise deliveries to customers in line with customer call-offs.

  • Organise and invoice direct deliveries to customers and book direct delivery P/Os.

  • Organise exports and raise appropriate commercial documentation.

  • Manage customer credit and cash accounts per company policy, communicating with customers and the CPH Sales Ledger.

  • Report customer service queries and request collections per company procedure, communicating with customers to promote repeat business.

  • Responsible for achieving targets for value of deliveries and proportion of direct deliveries, and value of inventory held in the warehouse, including deleting unwanted lines and reducing dead special creation.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company operating systems.

  • Develop product knowledge.

  • Collaborate with different departments to find solutions, and develop supplier relationships.

  • Comply with the company's Health and Safety policy.

  • Follow reasonable management requests.
