Business Development Manager, Guildford

Location: Guildford, London

Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

 

The key to the role is achieving sales targets at the required margin while supplying the customer with inspirational service.

  • To meet sales targets at appropriate margin requirements issued by the Showroom Manager.
  • To pro-actively organise meetings with C.P. Hart lapsed Trade accounts and influencers to generate new business, preparing presentations and estimates for these meetings.
  • Research Architects, Interior Designers, and Developers in the Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire areas.
  • Contact and aim to visit at least 3 new prospects per week.
  • Promote the Trade Design Service and the Interior Design Consultancy Service to existing clients and new prospects.
  • Utilise the Bistrack CRM Opportunities Database to record every project that has an Influencer and/or supplier registered products.
  • Present to Showroom Manager on the weekly activity – reporting on new projects, updating on current projects via CRM, and new Trade contacts.
  • Create 4 x trade events per year within the showroom to socialise with the professional community.
  • To continue to develop the Brand with all you do.
  • Liaise with suppliers to gain new leads and to utilise extra discounts.
  • Endeavour to resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • To continually seek to develop your own skills.
  • To carry out any other reasonable management request.

 

Skills Required

  • A strong flair for selling
  • Customer-focused, with a positive attitude and good people skills
  • Able to negotiate effectively and communicate on all levels
  • Good organisation skills and ability to work on several jobs at once
  • Experience within the bathroom industry
