The Original Illusion collection certainly lives up to its name, giving the illusion of showering behind frameless glass. The exceptional high-lustre framing that rigidly holds the 8mm toughened glass is so minimal that the structure all but disappears.
The door and side panels are also cleverly located inside the integrated shower tray, minimising the need for sealant, maximising the range’s clean aesthetic. Finished in an attractive Celtic silver, with clear safety glass, Original Illusion is suitable for the most powerful of showers. New Illusion is not only an update on the original, but also boasts a completely new design that is characterised by valuable product innovations. The minimal framing and large solid safety glass panels are cleverly held in place by Matki’s non-slip hinges and discreet channel in the slimline tray.
The glass panels are uniquely recessed into the tray with a water-tight seal, which eliminates the need for silicon sealant along the junction of the glass and tray. Meanwhile, the soft return handle is not only easily operated, it provides a sense of sleek continuity between hinge and handle. Alternatively, a traditional chrome handle can be specified, if preferred, and you can opt between right and left-hand orientation.

In England, it’s a tradition to put your plaques and photographs and awards and gold records and stuff in your bathroom. I don’t know why.
