The metallic trend in interior design has been increasingly widespread over the past few years and is set to continue strongly in 2016. This is supported by the fact that people have recently started to abandon traditional white bathroom products in favour of more luxurious, colourful and interesting options.

One of the reasons metallic pieces are so popular in the bathroom is because they can lend an element of warmth to the room, while remaining stylish and on-trend. There are many finishes options to choose from, including antique gold, rose gold, copper and brass, and this is a trend that be easily added and adapted to any bathroom type, with either a selection of warm metallic accents, complete bathrooms sets or metallic accessories.

C.P. Hart has a wide selection of metallic finishes and variations, from our accessories right through to our bathroom furniture, making this a very easy trend to incorporate. Here are a few examples:

Last year's ISH show in Germany showcased a variety of metallic options for bathrooms, including at the Hansgrohe stand where they displayed a wide array of finishes for their brassware, which have been available since the end of 2015. This trend was also spotted on a more general level at interior design show, Maison & Object, in January of this year, where gold featured heavily throughout, from lamps to sofas, from lighting to basins.
